Martha Duran — Makers with a Mission

Every Martha Duran bracelet is made by hand, one at a time, in Colombia.

The Story

Martha Duran's jewelry is made by mothers in Colombia, many of them single parents. The company gives them the tools, training and support to do the work, and pays them fairly for it. The goal is dignified work that lets women earn a living while raising their children.

The brand has also won the Metal & Smith Alternative Materials Award.

The Pieces

Martha Duran works in 18K gold- or .925 silver-plated bronze, glass seed beads and stone charms. Ours include the Monarch and Butterfly bracelets, the Eternity bracelet and earrings, and the Murat bracelet in three colors.

Why We Carry Them

A beautiful piece of jewelry that also gives a mother steady, fairly paid work is exactly the kind of gift Ever-Change exists to offer. And, like our own logo, several of the designs are all about butterflies.
