Gry & Sif — Makers with a Mission

The felted mice, snowmen and mushrooms on our holiday shelves were all made by hand in Nepal.

The Story

Danish founder Gry Staunstrup was backpacking in Nepal when she saw women there felting wool, and she built a company around their craft. Gry & Sif has made its pieces in Nepal since 2000, using 100% New Zealand wool, and it has been certified by the World Fair Trade Organization since 2009.

What We Carry

Felted mice in every size, including our extra-large Christmas mice, plus a snowman in a red hat, a polar bear, a deer, a mushroom house, felt ornaments, a hanging mobile and a felted nativity play set.

Because every piece is felted by hand, no two are exactly alike.

Why We Carry Them

Fair-trade certification means the people who make these pieces are working to recognized standards for fair pay and working conditions. Add the craftsmanship and the sheer charm of them, and Gry & Sif is a natural fit for Ever-Change, and a favorite for the holidays.
